I am currently the Caribbean Basin Librarian at the University of Florida. My background is in both the humanities and the social sciences. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Latin American Studies from Tulane University. My major discipline is history, and my minor disciplines are art history and anthropology. I have an M.A. also in Latin American Studies, and I got my B.A. in Spanish languages and literature from the National Autonomous University in Mexico (UNAM).
